As a passionate advocate for student rights and an engaged member of the King's College London community, I am honored to present my candidacy for the NUS National Conference Delegate. With a rich background in Maths with Management & Finance, a track record of leadership in student societies, and a forthcoming internship at Goldman Sachs, I bring a wealth of experience, a strong voice, and a dedicated vision to represent us on the national stage.

Vision and Goals

  • Amplify Student Voices: Serve as a powerful advocate for King’s students, ensuring our concerns, aspirations, and perspectives are heard loud and clear at the NUS conference.
  • Policy Impact: Actively contribute to discussions and vote on motions that align with our interests and values, striving to influence NUS policy in ways that benefit students across the country.
  • Transparency and Communication: Keep the King’s community informed and engaged, providing regular updates before, during, and after the NUS conference to ensure transparency and accountability.

Experience and Skills

  • Strategic Advocacy: Utilizing my analytical skills and management training, I will strategically advocate for policies that enhance student welfare, education quality, and inclusivity.
  • Leadership and Representation: My experience leading student societies and volunteering positions me uniquely to understand diverse student needs and to represent our community effectively.
  • Professional Insight: The insights gained from my academic journey and the upcoming Goldman Sachs internship will enable me to contribute a professional perspective to discussions on education and employability.
